Bio
Nino Giorgadze, aka Himiko, is a Georgian audiovisual artist, curator, ambient musician, and software engineer working across disciplines and exploring worlds beyond terrestrial consciousness.
Her interest in visual art and music began in childhood, though it remained a personal space somewhere between hobby and therapy until 2023 with her discovery of TouchDesigner — a node-based platform for building interactive and real-time systems. Through it, she found a direct bridge between technical interests and artistic intuition, enabling her to work fluidly in the moment without the constraints of rendering or fixed timelines.
Primordial Exit
Soon after, she founded the dark ambient audiovisual project Primordial Exit with musician Lado Bersenadze. Conceived as a continuous experience, the project navigates abstract narratives set within cosmic, subconscious, and architectural spaces. Following Lado's relocation in 2026, Nino continued the project in collaboration with other artists, including performances with experimental musician NINABYSS.
Alongside this, Nino develops her own soft ambient compositions paired with delicate visual environments. These works emphasize minimalism, tenderness, and subtle emotional textures, forming intimate atmospheres that contrast her darker explorations. She presented this body of work live for the first time in March at Gori Art House.
NIANGI
In 2024, she founded the non-commercial new media platform __niangi___, dedicated to supporting and expanding experimental and media art practices in Georgia, particularly in regional contexts. Through her co-curatorship, the platform has hosted multiple exhibitions and audiovisual events, engaging over 70 local and international artists.
Fireflies
In 2025, with Kakha Gelashvili, she initiated Fireflies — an ambient live series focused on deep listening and spatial awareness, held in diverse venues including Peace Cathedral Evangelical-Baptist Church of Georgia.
Nino has also participated in art residencies in Armenia and Georgia, as well as a queer fundraiser event in Berlin, expanding her practice through international collaboration and exchange.
